Message from our President

Champion Injection Molding is a family-owned custom injection molder that values people as our most important ingredient for success. We believe that the talents and superior work ethic of our employees  makes it possible to manufacture high quality plastic products. We value honesty, ingenuity, teamwork and determination to make the best possible plastic products in a safe and efficient work environment.  My father, Bernd Lewkowitz, founded the company 25 years ago in order to supply injection molded plastic frames for windows(doorlights) used by RSL, his residential entry door company in New Jersey. RSL was established 50 years ago and has grown to become an international supplier of the highest quality doorlights for the home building industry. Combined with superior production from Champion, RSL offers the only lifetime warranty on products made in our industry.

From its earliest days, Champion has had two strategies for success that have continued to the present.  The first strategy is a focus on product quality.  Champion maintains a manufacturing process that makes RSL doorlights the best in our industry and we share that focus with all of our other custom molding customers.  Our employees take great pride in our reputation for excellent product quality and believe that every plastic frame or other product they manufacture should be as if it was made for their own home. The second strategy for our success is the importance we place on relationships.  We believe that in order to be successful we need to place equal value on our customers, employees and vendors.  Integrity, respect, keeping promises, and clear communication are but some of the important values that we commit equally to all three groups above.  An important objective of the company is to create a work environment where employees understand that they are appreciated.  As a family company, there is a closeness between management and employees that is often rare to find.  We care about our employees and their family’s health and well-being.

RON LEWKOWITZ

Ohio Chamber Announces Finalists for Excellence in Entrepreneurship Award. Winner to receive $25,000; runners-up receive $5,000 each.
The presentation of the seventh Excellence in Entrepreneurship award sponsored by the Ohio Chamber of Commerce will take place on Tuesday, April 14 at the Capitol Theatre in downtown Columbus. The award will be presented during the Ohio Chamber of Commerce Annual Meeting & Legislative Reception, which begins at 3:30 p.m. As in years past, the award winner will receive a check for $25,000, the runners-up will receive $5,000 each and the local chamber that nominated the winner will receive $1,000. This year, Annual Meeting keynote speaker former Florida Governor Jeb Bush and 2014 winner Erika Boll of The Toasted Oat will help present the award.
This award is designed to identify, honor and financially assist a company in Ohio that is demonstrating the historical innovative spirit of our state. The award recipient best demonstrates this entrepreneurial spirit through a recently introduced or pending introduction of a unique product or service that will have the ability to sustain long-term growth for the company, increase local employment and assist in the creation of economic prosperity within the state.
“In honor of our state’s history of innovators and entrepreneurs, the Ohio Chamber of Commerce created this award to recognize those who continue to take considerable initiative and risk in creating new products and services,” explained President and CEO of the Ohio Chamber of Commerce Andrew E. Doehrel. “As the state’s oldest and most diverse business group, we continue to support the endeavors of Ohio business people through this award as well as our continued business advocacy. This year’s nominees are all excellent examples of the innovative spirit that resides in Ohio’s historic past.”
Local chambers of commerce and Ohio Chamber members submitted nominations earlier this year. From those nominees, three were selected as finalists to compete for the award.
An awards committee, made up of members from the Ohio Chamber’s board of directors, reviewed the detailed applications and selected the finalists who are invited to attend the ceremony. Each company will be called up on stage and recognized. The winner will be announced on stage on April 14.
The finalists for this year’s Ohio Chamber of Commerce Excellence in Entrepreneurship Award and the local chambers that nominated them are:
Advanced Rehabilitation Technology of Bryan, nominated by the Bryan Area Chamber of Commerce
Champion Injection Molding, Inc. of Warren, nominated by the Youngstown/Warren Regional Chamber
Nehemiah Manufacturing Company of Cincinnati, nominated by the Cincinnati USA Regional Chamber

The Ohio Chamber of Commerce is a champion for Ohio businesses so that our state enjoys economic growth and prosperity. With over 8,000 members, we have been Ohio’s premier business advocate since 1893.
